Set Build

We painted and treated the flats provided at our University, deciding on adding colour to some walls with green stripes, and a cream for the rest with wooden beams to blend with our location. We used vacuum-form PVC sheets of stone for feature walls, and painted these to match Cotswolds Stone; painted with a mixture if wet and dry brushing. I supervised the entire build, helping and instructing the crew on my vision. When the set was built, including shelves and wood panels, I got to work on dressing. Again, I used fake dust to make the place feel lived in and like she worked in there. We used practicals and created motivated spaces for light to come through too. The build, plus dressing, took four days.
