Mallory
This was the plan for a pinafore and shirt combination with an apron. The colours are what we all agreed on and this was the final costume plan.
I wanted a sickly yellow paired next to a warmer brown to highlight the grossness.
This outfit was inspired by 70s business casual attire. Women were beginning to be in the workplace and suits were common.
This one included a blazer, wide-legged pants, and a large bow. It is my second favourite and worked well with the colour scheme I wanted.
Another idea I had was for Mallory to be wearing a 50s tea dress. Green and patterns were common for these dresses.
I decided against this idea as I felt it was too formal for Mallory, although it would have been handed down to her by her mother.
This was simpler and 60s inspired with a turtleneck and cropped jeans.
3/4 length was popular in this decade and so this outfit utilises that.
I didn’t choose this as it felt too young for Mallory, and even if her mother did use to wear it, I don’t think it suits Mallory as she is now.
