I designed a room keeping in mind influences from the 70s + 80s. The living, dining and kitchen areas all blend. They are to feel like separate but combined spaces. We originally wanted an island in the kitchen to base a lot of action around and so I included this in my idea; another focus is the sofa in the living room.

I did the same with the bathroom, which we decided to do as a studio build. The centre focus is the bathtub and so I designed the rest of the bathroom around that. It is a cluttered and lived-in space, but neater than the rest of the apartment.
